On behalf of our client, a leading player in the Energy market, we are conducting a search to hire an experienced Trader to join their Dublin team. 

The Role:
  • Maximising the economic benefit from trading the power and gas positions. 
  • Making timely commercial decisions based on available real time information and informed judgement. 
  • Dispatch generation portfolio in the optimal manner. 
  • Manage interactions with stations, other market participants and other functions within the organisation. 
  • Shift work will be a feature of this role.


Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in power and gas trading across ISEM,UK or other jurisdictions. 
  • Highly analytical, numerical and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent timely decision skills and strong judgement are essential.
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to dynamic trading and operating systems conditions. 
  • Candidates must be living and working in the Republic of Ireland.
