Our client, a leading semi-state company are looking to hire a newly
qualified financial accountant to join their Dublin team. This role will report
to the Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be a hybrid position with 1
to 2 days in the office.
The Role:
- Providing technical accounting support to Corporate and Business Units.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and
customers including corporate teams, financial planning & analysis team,
business units and external auditors.
- Monitoring accounting (IFRS), technical and commercial developments and
advising on their impact on the financial close of the Group
- Co-ordination
of the annual audit process, engagement with external auditors and delivery of
outputs to key internal and external stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- Newly qualified/1+ year PQE with recognised accounting qualification (ACA,
ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or part-qualified accountant with relevant work experience.
- Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- High level of technical accounting competency and strong analytical
skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
