Workout Specialist
20 March 2025We have partnered with an international asset manager to appoint a Workout Specialist to its Dublin based team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing platform, playing a key role in managing a diverse and expanding portfolio of European Loans. With a strong focus on Pan-European transactions across multiple asset classes, this role offers significant exposure to complex financial structures and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive performance monitoring of the NPL portfolio, including engagement with servicers
- Collaborating with servicers to optimize individual loan recoveries
- Reviewing deal documentation to assess available options
- Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
- Monitoring and approving deal expenses
- Supporting larger loan ‘Work-Out’ scenarios and restructurings
- Potential to take ownership of asset management for the portfolio and oversee a team of support consultants
Candidate Profile:
- Relevant experience in mortgage lending, mortgage servicing, or ABS management
- Strong ability to learn quickly and develop expertise in new NPL asset classes and jurisdictions
- Experience working with loans/NPLs and/or NPL servicers is beneficial
- Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Solid academic background
- Interest in investing and a strong intellectual curiosity in finance
- Ability to form an investment view, take ownership, and drive necessary actions
- Commercial awareness with a basic understanding of financial statements, modelling, and SPV structures
