Tax Manager

On behalf of a rapidly growing renewable energy firm in Dublin city centre, we are looking to hire a Tax Manager.

On the back of a recent, substantial funding round, our client is looking to grow the business across Europe and the United States and therefore have created a new Tax Manager position.

Working alongside the Financial Controller, the Tax Manager will be responsible for the organisation’s international tax compliance, reporting and planning, ensuring the company is fully aligned and compliant with all the regulatory environments it operates within.

Responsibilities:

• Global tax compliance, reporting and planning
  Ensure the Company completes its tax filings accurately and by the specified delivery dates
  Proactively monitor changing business practices to ensure that the company’s tax reporting is properly aligned with its regulatory environment
  Monitor legislative changes in tax laws that may impact the Company’s tax positions, including tax accounting implications
• Management of audits
  Lead in management of audits by tax authorities, including responding to information requests and presenting detailed support of tax position as filed
  Manage outside tax consultants and advisors
• Transfer pricing
  Responsible for transfer pricing and management fee arrangements including monitoring and update company’s transfer pricing policies and related documentation
• Internal adhoc tax advice and support
  Provision of ad hoc tax advice at all levels of the organisation, including preliminary tax advice in relation to various transactions/projects

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant and hold a relevant Tax qualification
• 5-10 years’ experience either within practice, industry or ideally a combination of both
• Multi-jurisdiction tax experience is essential
• Managing stakeholder expectations & relationships and working to strict deadlines

This is a hybrid role with occasional international travel involved.
