Reconciliation Accountant

We are working with a large Irish PLC to appoint a Reconciliation Accountant into a central finance team.

This role is well suited to an accounting technician or part-qualified accountant with strong reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reconciling high-volume cash and bank transactions across multiple channels.
  • Reviewing and posting journals to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigating and resolving reconciling items and discrepancies.
  • Supporting wider finance operations, including treasury, accounts payable, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years’ in a similar role.
  • Experience working with large volumes of financial data and reconciliations.
  • Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, deadline-focused, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.
