Portfolio Associate

We are partnering with an international investment platform to appoint an Associate into its Asset-Based Finance team in Dublin, Ireland. 

The Role:

• Monitor the performance of asset-based finance investments across multiple portfolios, including ABS, NAV lending, specialty finance etc.
  
• Analyse underlying collateral performance, cashflows, covenant compliance and risk metric
  
• Review and challenge financial models, assumptions and portfolio reporting provided by originators and servicer
  
• Identify emerging risks and proactively escalate issues, providing recommendations to senior stakeholder
  
• Support ongoing valuation processes and contribute to internal portfolio review
  
• Engage with deal teams, servicers, borrowers and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely information flo
  
• Assist with restructuring, amendments or work-out situations where require
  
• Prepare high-quality materials for internal committees and senior investment professionals
  

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in roles such as private equity portfolio management, asset management, or investment banking
  
• Strong investing and financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial reporting
  
• Proficiency in building and interpreting financial models, including LBO and DCF modeling skills
  
• Excellent communication skills for delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders
  
• Fluency in an additional European language is beneficial
  
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
