Pensions Manager

We are currently working with a leading Wealth Management firm who are looking to hire a Pensions Manager to join their team in Dublin. This role will sit within a wider Financial Planning team and the ideal candidate will have a highly analytical pensions background. 

Responsibilities of this Pensions Manager Job: 
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the Irish pension and wealth management market and apply this knowledge in dealing with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Work with the Financial Planning, Investment and Adviser teams to develop innovative solutions for high-net-worth individuals incorporating knowledge of pension, tax, protection and investment disciplines
  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s pensions platform together with the evolving pensions landscape and apply this knowledge in dealing with clients to drive new opportunities 
  • Contribute to thought leadership to pro-actively deliver key messages to clients and increase awareness of the firm’s pension and financial planning proposition in the marketplace.
Requirements of this Pensions Manager Job:
  • QFA qualification 
  • Degree or Masters level qualification in a business related discipline 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a pensions technical/retirement advice related role
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and to manage large projects to a successful outcome 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Irish pension and tax regulations and legislation
