On behalf of a Dublin‑headquartered Renewable Energy client with a growing international footprint, we are seeking to hire a Group / Intercompany Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This is a key role within the corporate finance function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business while gaining broad exposure to group accounting, intercompany transactions, consolidations, and multi‑currency financial reporting in a fast‑growth energy sector environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and reconcile cost recharges across multiple intercompany entities.
  • Processing and allocating invoices and bank payments in accordance with group structure and chart of accounts.
  • Preparation and completion of the monthly close process, ensuring on-time delivery of financial reporting.
  • Bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and group entities.
  • Reconciliation of accruals, prepayments, tax accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Responsible for preparation of intercompany loan and transfer pricing documentation and capital account maintenance.
  • Work closely with third party providers and Joint venture partners to ensure reporting received is accurate and provided to the requisite levels.
  • Preparation of Tax filings (VAT, VIES, ERR).
Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part‑qualified with strong relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in intercompany accounting, group structures, or consolidation environments.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple systems and entities.
  • Experience with multi‑currency accounting and complex reconciliations.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across an international organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the CFO in a high‑calibre, close‑knit Dublin‑based team, with significant exposure to international projects and transactions within a rapidly expanding renewable energy platform.

Our client offers a 3&2 hybrid working model in a city‑centre office.
