Financial Controller

On behalf of a childcare group in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Financial Controller.
As the group continues to expand through active M&A, we are looking to hire a Financial Controller to oversee the running of financial operations, for multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team of 4-5 direct reports, overseeing the production of monthly management accounts, on an entity-by-entity basis and consolidated level.
- Production of projections and budgets.
- Advise on matters related to working capital and cashflow management.
- Liaise with the operational management (i.e. creche General Manager, creche Area Managers, Head of HR, etc.), in respect of operational issues, revenue and margin maximisation and cost control.
Key Requirements:
- Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is essential.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- C. 5 years Post Qualified Experience, ideally in multi-site businesses.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Experience managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial controls.

Our client offers a strong remuneration (base salary) 4&1 hybrid model.
