Credit Analyst- Commercial Real Estate

Our client is an industry leading Alternative Lender who are looking to hire a Credit Analyst to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing credit worthiness of commercial real estate loan applicants and supporting the decision-making process for loan approvals.
Responsibilities of this Credit Analyst Role:
- Analyse financial statements, income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents of commercial real estate borrowers to assess their credit worthiness
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to project cash flows, rental income, operating expenses and loan repayments
- Identify and quantify risks associated with the commercial real estate transactions, including market trends, regulatory changes and property-specific factors
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports, including financial assessments, risk evaluations, and recommendations for credit approval or denial
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations as necessary to support the credit process
Requirements of this Credit Analyst Role:
- Business, Law or Finance degree
- Interest and understanding of the property industry
- Good communication skills
- Experience with financial modelling
- Understanding of debt advisory, security-based lending and cashflows
