Financial Accountant

On behalf of a leading organisation operating within the energy and renewables space, we are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a commercially focused finance team.
This role offers strong exposure to project-driven accounting, capital expenditure, and stakeholder-facing financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality financial information to support business and operational stakeholders.
- Supporting month-end and period-end close processes.
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Supporting capital projects, including tracking capex spend against budgets.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience in energy, renewables, construction, infrastructure, or real estate environments is highly advantageous.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and improvement-focused approach.
