FP&A Analysts

On behalf of a leading industry client with offices in Dublin city centre and north county Dublin, we are looking to hire two FP&A Analysts.


The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the organization, particularly in areas like budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance and non-finance teams, to support key planning processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and coordinating the annual budget and forecasts, and preparing supporting commentary for presentations to senior management.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data, performing variance analysis and identifying trends.
  • Strategic Support: Providing commercial and analytical support to help the organization make informed decisions.
  • Cost Analysis: Conducting cost/benefit analyses for potential investments, new operations, or expansions.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and the Board.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • ACA/ ACCA qualified with 0-2 years post qualified experience (PQE).
  • Experience in or exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting ideally.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, perform variance analysis, and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with various stakeholders.


Although prior FP&A experience is preferred, our client is open to training newly qualified accountants with strong commercial accumen and an interest in moving into commercial finance.


Our client offers a strong hybrid (3&2) model along with flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate(s) can choose to be based in city centre or north Dublin.
