Investment Associate

We have partnered with a pan-European Real Estate investor to appoint an Investment Associate to their team in London. 

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the origination of real estate special situations opportunities across Equity – Hard Assets, Distressed Debt, and Development Finance.
  
• Assisting in sourcing and filtering equity investment opportunities across various geographies.
  
• Assisting in negotiations, preparing investment proposals, and supporting the closing of real estate special situations investments.
  
• Conducting financial modelling and analysis of transactions, including supporting detailed due diligence across legal, financial, and operational aspects.
  
• Assessing risks associated with distressed or complex real estate assets.
  

Experience Required:

• Strong academic track record from a top-tier institution, with a graduate degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
  
• Upwards of 2-4 years of experience in real estate investments, private equity, real estate lending, investment banking, or a related field.
  
• Solid financial modelling skills with the ability to analyse complex capital structures and waterfalls.
  
• Strong understanding of real estate investment, including origination, underwriting, and asset management.
  
• Experience preparing investment memoranda and presenting to internal stakeholders.
