About the job
We are currently working with a client in the fintech/payments industry to hire a Temporary General Admin Assistant to support core business operations during a busy period. This is a temporary position, well-suited to someone who is organised, confident using Excel, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities of Temporary General Admin Assistant:
  • Provide temporary administrative support to internal teams.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assist with scheduling, diary management, and internal coordination.
  • Prepare and update documents, records, and reports.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external contacts as required.
  • Perform general office support and ad hoc admin duties as needed.

Requirements for Temporary General Admin Assistant Job:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organisation.
  • Professional phone manner and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and available at short notice for a temporary contract.
