Residential Products and Propositions Manager

Our client, a leading energy provider, is seeking an experienced Residential Products and Propositions Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of their residential energy offerings across electricity, gas, and bundled services.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape the product vision and manage a dedicated team to ensure innovative, customer-first propositions are brought to market effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  •  Lead and develop a high-performing Product & Propositions team to deliver compelling, customer-centric energy offerings.
  •  Own the end-to-end product lifecycle – from strategy and go-to-market planning to in-life management and performance monitoring.
  •  Define and evolve the residential product strategy in line with market developments, customer insights, and commercial opportunities.
  •  Act as the customer’s voice, ensuring product decisions improve experience, loyalty, and overall value.
  •  Collaborate across functions including Marketing, Sales, Digital, and Customer Operations to ensure seamless delivery and execution.
  •  Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial viability and strong operational performance.
  •  Foster innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging digital tools and data to shape future propositions.
  •  Oversee third-party partners involved in product and service delivery.
Requirements

  •  Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  •  Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in the utility sector or similar customer-focused, commercial environment.
  •  Proven experience leading teams and managing the full product lifecycle.
  •  Experience managing complex commercial projects or partnerships.
  •  Strong track record in developing and launching innovative, commercially successful propositions.
  •  A strategic mindset with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to shape and drive product vision.
  •  Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style.
  •  Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
