About the role: 

Our client is a leading financial services firm seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their HR team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting a growing workforce across Ireland and the UK.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline, with proven payroll experience and strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation. UK payroll or pension knowledge would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly payroll and benefits for Ireland and the UK via an outsourced provider.
  • Ensure accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, and pension contributions.
  • Liaise with Revenue, HMRC, and pension administrators on all relevant matters.
  • Maintain and report on employee data using HRIS (Dayforce).
  • Support audits and contribute to payroll process improvements.
Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in HR, Business, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Strong Irish payroll knowledge; UK experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll and pension providers.
  • Skilled in Excel and familiar with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred).
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
