Head of Commercial Finance

On behalf of an international firm in North Dublin, we are looking to hire a Head of Commercial Finance.
As a key strategic partner to the business, the Head of Commercial Finance will lead the commercial finance team and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving operational performance, and supporting the continued expansion of the organisation across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Sector Managing Director and operations leadership, providing financial insight to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
- Deliver high-quality financial analysis including profitability, cost management, and variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for margin improvement and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of finance business partners.
Requirements:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with c. 10 years of experience, including in a senior commercial finance or FP&A role.
- Proven experience managing finance teams in a fast-paced, multi-site or service-driven environment (ideally facilities management or similar).
- Strong financial modelling and analysis skills with a strategic mindset.
- A confident communicator who can influence at senior level and build strong cross-functional relationships.
