Funding Manager

A leading infrastructure firm is seeking a Funding Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale capacity funding and renewable support programmes. 

You will lead a high-performing team responsible for planning and executing market auctions that secure long-term electricity capacity and support renewable investment. You will shape operational delivery, strengthen governance and assurance frameworks, and play a key role in supporting Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon, secure energy system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of capacity and renewable support auctions with robust governance and quality assurance.
  
• Manage day-to-day operations, performance and development of a multi-disciplinary team.
  
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external bodies, including regulators and third parties.
  
• Monitor post-auction project delivery to ensure performance standards are met.
  
• Drive continuous improvement, capability building and process innovation.
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in the energy sector, markets, regulation, commercial operations, or infrastructure.
  
• Proven experience managing operational teams and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
  
• Skilled communicator able to influence, engage and build confidence at senior levels.
  
• Strong organisational, analytical and decision-making capability.
  
• Understanding of Ireland’s electricity system, capacity market or renewable support schemes is desirable (not essential).
